CEO to move on
CICES CEO Ann Allen MBE will be leaving the institution to take on a new challenge in June 2022.
Speaking about her time as CEO, Ann Allen commented: “It has been an immense pleasure to be CEO of CICES.
The work that members do in shaping our infrastructure, not just in the UK but across the world, is incredible.
The institution has a new 30-year strategy and a clear plan for how to deliver the first five years, which will see the organisation build its reputation further and continue to provide services for members.
I remain in post for a few months and there is still a lot of work to do and I look forward to working with members to embed our three golden threads of equality, diversity and inclusion; sustainability; and digital transformation.
With the lifting of travel and meeting restrictions I might also get a chance to meet some members before I leave.”
President Steve Slessor said: “It has been a great honour to work closely with Ann during my time as president.
There is still a lot of work to do and I look forward to working with members to embed our three golden threads.
Ann was instrumental in developing the new 30-year strategy that leaves us in a great place and will ensure that as an institution we realise our goals and invest in our future.
I would like to thank Ann for her friendship and her passion, dedication and commitment to the institution during her time as CEO.”
Procedures are being put in place to find a successor to Ann Allen. Managing the process are incoming president Andy Evans and vice president Batsetswe Motsumi.
Further details will follow in due course.
