This year’s Cambridge Lecture CPD event features speakers from nPlan, Archor LLP, Environment Agency, the UK Geospatial Commission and Royal Geographical Society, the Open Data Institute, and Hexagon Geosystems. £85 for members, £100 for non-members.

E&M region summer pub ‘Quiz of the Year’ winners.
E&M enjoyed their summer pub ‘Quiz of the Year’ in July at the National Brewery Centre restaurant in Burton upon Trent. Carl Muchenagumbo from Network Rail and Hayden Nash and Rob Ward, both of Greenhatch, came out on top as winners.

North West & North Wales

It was another brilliant CICES/CECA annual golf day at Leigh Golf Club in June. 11 Teams fought for the two prestigious trophies – the team prize and singles prize. It saw success for team Geoterra who managed to win the trophy again three years after their last win. Second placed was team Severn Partnership, with third going to team Decipher Consulting. James Price won the singles prize. Thanks goes to Chris Jackson and Alison Shea for the event, with the NW&NW region looking forward to returning to Leigh GC in July 2023.
