Committee vacancies at CICES: Can you help?

CICES is looking to fill a number of vacancies as it looks to strengthen and develop its committees at the start of the new 30-year strategy.

As part of the institution’s commitment to improving diverse representation on its committees and panels, applications are welcome from all members at all grades. External applicants will be considered for some positions, with the expectation that the successful applicant will join CICES at affiliate grade or higher. Where certain experience or expertise is required, these are stated within the individual roles.

President Stephen Slessor comments: “One of the best things about being involved in our institution is that you get to make a real impact on your profession whilst furthering your own development at the same time. It’s incredibly rewarding and a great way to forge relationships with like-minded people.”

All the roles are voluntary, and reasonable expenses will be paid. A blended approach to meetings is expected to become the norm, with the majority held online via MS Teams.

Anyone wanting an informal chat about the roles can contact Ann Allen, CEO, at ann.allen@cices.org
